Playing the qin in the rarden, handscroll, ink and colors on silk. On the frontispiece calligraphy in cursive script: “Playing the Lute. Respectfully inscribed by You Ziping.” One seal: “You Ziping yin”. On the painting a poetic inscription and signature by the artist: „In the fifth year of the Guangxu period (1879), in the ninth month of autumn in the jimao year, I have imitated here the style of Tang Liuru (Tang Yin, 1470-1523) and added a poetic inscription. … Rongqing, your younger brother Jiang Shouping.“ Two seals of the artist: “Jiang Shouping” etc.
